Frequently Asked Questions About EcoPalm's Eco-Friendly, Biodegradable Plates, and Disposable Dinnerware

What makes EcoPalm catering plates and flatware environmentally friendly?

All our plate products are made with 100 percent natural palm husk, with no toxic resins or chemicals added. This means that, unlike Styrofoam and plastic disposable dinnerware, tossing them won’t clog landfills indefinitely. EcoPalm products biodegrade in 2 to 4 months.

How sturdy is EcoPalm compostable tableware?

Palm husks are naturally durable, meaning EcoPalm’s products can withstand a lot. Our environmentally friendly plates can hold up to 10 pounds of food! They’re also waterproof, though you won’t want to let them sit in water for hours.

Are EcoPalm’s environmentally friendly plates more expensive than others?

Although EcoPalm products are top quality and made with 100 percent natural materials, prices are competitive with other green disposable dinnerware brands on the market.

Can I microwave an EcoPalm palm plate?

Yes. EcoPalm plates may be placed in the microwave at maximum heat for up to 2 minutes.

How many plates are in a package?

All products come in packages of 20 pieces. All the prices listed on the site are for pacakges of 20 pieces.

How can I store EcoPalm plates?

EcoPalm plates that are exposed to air for a few days would warp due to moisture in air. For best results, please store any opened products in air-tight containers.

How can I view the status of my order?

Logon to your account by clicking 'Order Status' to view the status of your order(s). If you do not have an account, please contact us at [email protected].

What are your shipping costs?

Shipping cost depends on the selected products size and quantity and the shipping address. You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

How long does it take to receive my products?

Your order will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an order shipment email with a FedEx tracking number. You can use this tracking number to view the estimated delivery date and track the package on www.fedex.com website.

What forms of payment do you accept on your website?

PayPal payments and all major credit cards, including MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover are accepted on our website.

Can I cancel an order that has already been placed?

To ensure faster delivery we process your order as soon as possible. Once you place an order, you cannot be modify or cancel the order.

Can I exchange the products?

We accept only un-opened products in the original packaging within 10 days of the delivery date. Upon receipt of the original products, we will ship the newly requested products within 1-2 business days. You are responsible for shipping the products back to us and for any difference in newly requested products and shipping costs. To process your exchange, please contact us at [email protected]

Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

We currently ship orders only within the U.S. We cannot process international orders.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

We use FedEx to deliver our products and FedEx does not accept P.O. box addresses. Please provide an alternative shipping address.

How is sales tax determined?

Michigan State sales tax of 6% is applied to all orders billed to a Michigan address.
